I was really excited for J&B’s engagement session. I don’t shoot away from the studio that much and when I asked J what she was thinking she said grunge, back-alley romantic…yup, like I said…I was excited. When I got home and took a look at her images on big mac, I was a little more than excited. I think we nailed it!

Thanks J&B! I can’t wait for the wedding!

Saturday was a beautiful fall day, perfect for a wedding…with a pretty princess. That is what Dolly keeps calling Miss A as she sits and looks over the images from the day with me. I will not be posting any images until next week when the newlyweds get home from their honeymoon but I fell in love with this image of the bridal bouquet…and I had to share it.

The weather was perfect for Jessie and Matt’s wedding. As we were getting ourselves organized for pictures Matt asked me if I had ever photographed such a good looking bride and groom. As I answered him, I had to agree that they both looked incredible. Jessie of course is so beautiful and Matt looked dashingly handsome. They look amazing in every image. It made it hard as I went through their images choosing which ones to use for their sneak peek. I must say I loved them all!

It is always an overwhelming feeling of joy to be included in a wedding, but when the bride and groom include a first look in their package the feelings of being a part of something so special are indescribable.

Riding out to the coulee with Jen and seeing Tyler waiting with his back turned…it was amazing. As Jen was walking up I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. I cannot imagine how Tyler was feeling.

That feeling of overwhelming love was carried throughout the day. The ceremony itself was beautiful. When I went through the file this morning I had tears in my eyes as I looked at images of Tyler holding Jen’s hand so tightly as they knelt at the front of the church. Thank you both so much for allowing me to photograph your special day, I feel so honored.

When I get a booking for a wedding I am always anxious to hear from the bride to be all about the wedding details, they tell so much about who the couple is. As I read through Lacey’s details I became very excited for her wedding day to arrive…old west meets couture(black lace, cowboy boots, old broaches, feather bouquets). As I was introduced to everyone, I noticed that Lacey did not miss one detail. The bridal party all looked awesome…and Lacey and Callan looked amazing!

Winter Wonderland | Provost Wedding Photographer

Saturday morning I woke up knowing what I would see out the window…snow…and lots of it. As I headed down the drive I seriously wondered if I would make it to the highway. If you have ever been out to the studio you know that the driveway is long and snow likes to gather there. The drift at the end of the lane was huge! I was very thankful for four wheel drive. Once I made it to the highway I pleasantly surprised, it actually wasn’t that bad on the way into Wainwright…although it did not stay that way.
I have never been to the Rosenheim Church, it is a historical site and is it ever beautiful….very fitting for Crystal and Juniors wedding day. My first pass through the church was overwhelming…I couldn’t soak it all in fast enough. I headed into the room where the girls were getting ready. They all looked beautiful…and Crystal was stunning!
As Crystal made her way down the aisle I was overwhelmed with the static in the air…Junior could not take his eyes off her…and the smile on Crystal’s face said “Here I come honey!”

Thank you Junior and Crystal for letting me be the photographer to capture your special day…and for sharing your love with all of us. Wishing you both the best as you start your new life as Mr. & Mrs.!

I do not think I have ever been as moved during a ceremony like I was with Justin and Jessica. The vows that they wrote to each other were so emotional and heartfelt. They were beautiful.

Thank you Justin and Jessica for letting us share in your special day. We are so honored to have been able to see how deep the love you share is…and to be able to preserve it for you, for years to come is an even greater honor.

I am crazy over Miss C’s bridal session. Every time I turned around I saw beauty. Miss C is so gorgeous…I absolutely love every image Alleisha and I took of her. We had such a good time…so much in fact that it was getting dark before we knew it. Thanks Miss C for being such a good sport…and putting up with us two silly chickies!

Amanda looked so beautiful on Saturday…and it was so apparent that every man in her life thinks she has hung the moon. I do not think I have seen grown men so overcome with emotion like they were when they got their first look at her. I had my heart strings pulled more than once! Alleisha and I came away from the wedding on Saturday absolutely love struck. The love between Brian and Amanda is so tremendous that it is infectious to everyone around them.
Thank you Brian and Amanda for sharing your day with us. We had so much fun with you and your family and friends. We wish you both the best…hope you are enjoying your honeymoon!
