Back2School mini sessions

The kids are back in school and it is time to celebrate! CCP is hosting Back2School mini sessions!
This is a great way to capture your child just as they are as the new school year begins with these fun and special styled little sessions.
It is also a great way to get a jump on your Christmas shopping! (I am sure all the grandparents out there would love something special with an image of their grandchildren on it.)

* Available for children ages 3-16.

*Limited spaces so be sure to book right away!

Memories…they are such a part of who we are. I have so many good memories from my childhood that I would love to share with my kids. They are the kind of memories that cannot be shared through stories or by looking at a picture. You just cannot describe some things the way they feel in your heart. I made it a priority for myself to capture some of those memories of my children this summer, so that when they are grown with children of their own they can share more than a story or a picture. Right now I barely have a flower in my beds because Dolly loves to pick them…I often have a pony in the yard, since Dolly loves to play with him…and I have a huge pile of dragon eggs on my step. {aka rocks} I am excited to share her fusion piece with you and since I also want you to be able to do the same, all sessions booked will now include fusion coverage.

It is hard to believe that it has been two years since Mr.M was here for his last session. When mom took his little brother Mr.G out of the car I was amazed at how much he looked like Mr. M did the last time he was here.

We had fun going on a little adventure around the farm, and both boys were so good! They giggled and played in the trees and popped bubbles…it was so much fun!

Thanks again mom for bringing them out!

J & T | Viking Engagement Photography

It was a beautiful evening for drive as I hit the highway and headed to Viking. It was fun to see all the calves running in the fields. Spring is always so full of good things. Just like my reason for going to Viking…meet J&T…they are getting married this summer so we met up for a few hours. The rain stayed away and gave us beautiful light and we even saw the sun come out once and a while.

When T told me he was going to be getting rid of this old garage I tried my best to shame him into keeping it…well at least until after the wedding! I love it. It’s full of character, and I am sure it has many stories stored in its walls.

I have always wondered was if older cars were such ole boats, why are old garages so small?

When we were coming to the end of our evening we jumped in the truck and went to the coulee. This is where T proposed….let me tell you it was absolutely breath taking out there. The view was amazing…I did not want to leave.

Thanks so much J&T! Looking forward to seeing you again this summer!

At first you moved,
only a little.
I could always find you,
right in the middle.

As time went on,
you really started to grow.
It wasn't a whole lot,
in fact, it was rather slow.

Before I knew it,
you were all over the place.
It kind of felt like,
you were running a race.

People would ask me,
if, you were a boy or a girl.
I would sit and wonder,
if, you would have curls.

There are so many things,
I really want to know.
But, you are hidden inside,
so the answers don't show.


In about a week or so,
I'll meet you, for the first time.
For you are the product,
of your Dad's love and mine.

There will be no one like you,
not any place in the world.
It really doesn't matter,

Firstly I have to apologize for my blog neglect…. I really am sorry…. I will be posting lots this week! {hugs}

Secondly Baby C absolutely stole my heart this afternoon! She fell asleep so peacefully….she looked like a little Doll. Here are a few of my favorites from her session {I wish I could post them all}

So last but not least Mr. N….LOVE him! I love his style he’s totally got it. The first image is what I had in visioned when Miss B asked me to do the Band Geeks session trendy modern and fun! I’m so happy with all my images from this session I want to thank all of you for coming out and spending the evening with me I hope you all enjoy the end results as much as me!
