I love weddings…some more than others. Not because of anything other than the love in the air. I am a hopeless romantic and I am easily drawn into the emotions of the day…so much so that I have kleenex in my camera bag. Yes I admit it…I cry behind my camera.

As we took pictures of the girls getting ready Alleisha and I agreed it would be a fun day. We progressed to the church and everything was running smoothly…but as I took images of Tara and her step dad I felt a stirring in my heart. I knew I was in for it! Sometimes you cannot help but notice as people wear their emotions so clearly on their face. Tara and Warren are so in love. It is beautiful to watch two people who share that! And a person cannot help but to be absolutely heart sick for that kind of love!

Congratulations Warren and Tara and thank you so much for letting us share in your special day. You have touched our hearts.

I can admit that I have been secretly waiting for this session since Miss E talked to me about doing her pictures with Bailey way back when…
mostly because Miss E reminds me of myself when I was her age…just a horse crazy girl in love with life. I had so much fun with Miss E, Bailey and Miss S. And as I sat down to pick which images to put up for her sneak peek I found myself editing away like crazy…I am just in love with soooo many of them!
So here you go E…enjoy…I’ll see you girls at the fair next weekend!

It was the garden tour here in Wainwright yesterday. Momma Temp’s garden was included in the list of garden’s visited. We took a drive into town for a visit with all the gardener’s. Dolly had fun showing everyone where Tinkerbell lives and where the pirate’s hide.
I heard the other gardens were beautiful as well and if you missed it you should make sure to take the tour next year.

I love when I get a message from friends and family asking for a session. Such was the case when lil sis emailed me.
Some of you are going “huh?? lil sis?? Nicole..you don’t have a sisiter!”
Yes I know.
Since I can remember Mrs. W and Momma Temp were dragging myself, T and J on all sorts of adventures…just ask us sometime…the stories we could tell will make you cry from laughing so hard. Like going the wrong way down a one way street or the misuse of a makeup application. Our mom’s were together so much and they do have a lot of similar qualities that people mistook them for sisters, in fact they still do. They have done the same with T and I…hence my lil sis.
So here ya go lil sis…cutest kiddos eva

I was in shock when I saw these three. They are such individuals and yet one glance and you know who mom and dad are. We had fun taking some special pictures for mom…a nice keepsake of her boys!

Wow…I have to tell you that these kids are all so sweet..and well behaved! Mom should be so proud!!
And I can’t believe how much the girls look like their mom…especially miss G…but it was when I was taking the boys pictures that I felt like I had gone back in time! I have seen that look way back when I was in high school…someone else had that same look on his face as he walked the halls of the BSS.
You have a beautiful family ‘S’. I am so happy that I got to spend some time with you and your kiddos. Enjoy!

I love outdoor weddings…and when I pulled into J’s yard I knew that this was going to be one pretty wedding. The yard was beautiful! There were so many flowers …everywhere…and as a person who loves to work in the yard I could appreciate all the work that went into making things so beautiful and so special.

Normally people are shy in front of the camera but not these two! Let me tell you, I think they could have easily forgotten I was there…they are so in love! {sigh…they made me feel giddy!}

Meet Miss K. She is our third grad rep out to the studio.

Favorite Activity: dance

Career Plans: Respiratory therapist…because I have always been interested in studying lungs and the respiratory system…I have asthma myself.

Place you most want to visit: Greece

Who do you look up to and Why: My mom because she is confident and beautiful. She’s sure of herself and doesn’t second guess when she makes a decision.

What was your greatest moment: Any time I win a medal dancing…the feeling of accomplishing something is good.

I remember when I was in high school. We had a new teacher one year. She was quiet and nice. I liked her…although I am sure she was glad to be rid of our class! As I was taking Miss J’s pictures I was thinking about this new teacher I had way back when…. Miss J reminds me so much of her…even the way she tells her stories! And when she looked at me straight on I was expecting her to tell me “No talking during class Nicole!” Well in case you haven’t figured it out…that teacher is Miss J’s mom. Time sure passes us by quickly.

I have known Miss J for a few years. She is a horse gal too. Seeing her dressed up like a princess is a real change from barn apparel! I think she looks absolutely beautiful…don’t cha agree!?!

Grad 2010

It turned out to be a pretty nice day on Saturday. We met the grads at the school before their church service for their class pictures.

Grads…I hope each and everyone of you thanked our wonderful drivers…they took time away from their families to do this for all of you! If you forgot make sure you stop them the next time you see them around town and tell them.

Here are a few from the day. I will add more as I go and I was not able to get the images off of A’s camera before she left…I’m sure those of you who had her take some pictures will get a sneak peek from her as well.
