• I have many journals that sit on the shelf at home. They chronicle many aspects of my life. I love to look through them, enjoying the things I have written or the pictures there in. It is my hope that as you look through these pages, that you too will enjoy the things placed so lovingly here.
    It has been a journey that has seen me through many joys and a few heartaches. From the start of Crimson Chickadee and my growth as a person and as a photographer. From the realization that how many fans I have on my facebook page does not merit my worth, to the swelling in my heart as I hit publish to a post that I know will mean so much to the intended recipient.
    I hope you join me often, with a good cup of coffee, and enjoy these pages as much as I do creating them.

    {hugs}

Friday finally!! I’m so excited about this weekend my list of things to do is long but I have to make the most of the beautiful weather! Tonight I have a fun Grad session….Saturday I’m heading out in search of the perfect dress to wear to my little sisters Graduation in a couple of weeks. {Vintage} {Pearls} & {Feathers} is what I’ve got set in my mind!  …..Sunday more fun with a group session { its going to be FABULOUS} I can hardly wait!!  Hint: 6 teens with music in common! Then Monday Grad Rep 2011…..How fun is that!

Now a quick little story about this little fella! About 5 weeks ago we found this fluffy little guy, aka {JACK}.We were out in the tractor and we saw him hopping out in front of us. Me a sucker for animals…..jumped out a caught him we looked everywhere for his nest and couldn’t find it anywhere. With a hungry Hawk swooping around I didn’t have the heart to let him come to his own demise.  I tucked him in my sweater pocket and took him home…..Little did I know {JACK} was still nursing and needed his mother….I got on the computer and did a little research and found a substitute recipe for Rabbit’s milk. Fact: Rabbits milk is the richest milk in the animal kingdom and is very hard to replicate! So I made the mixture….put some in the palm of my hand and to my surprise {JACK} lapped it right up!  Today he is eating grass and alfalfa. But his favorite treats are Carrots, Apples, and Bananas….who woulda knew!
