I know I have not posted much this last little bit. I did take some time this past week to spend with my kids. The boys were racing at the Western Canadian Amateur Motosports Championships from July 1-4. I went on Friday to watch their motos. Was I ever shocked at how much they have advanced in their riding ability. Raceboy82 had a crash and was feeling pretty sore after. He decided to come home with mom and rest his aching bones. Raceboy83 will be coming home later this week. He is spending some time riding with a friend who is home from Texas. I am sure that getting up at 5 am to ride will have him beat for days when he does get home. I am always amazed at these kids…since they were 8 years old they have listened intently when proper nutrition/physical fitness has been discussed and probably know more about nutrition than most adults. They informed me on Friday that they want my pilates tapes. When I asked why I got quite the response! “Mom…if you are limber and stretch when you crash your body is more flexible and you get hurt less.” I am thinking…huh isn’t that great…when you crash…get hurt less…no don’t think about it! Why did my kids choose this sport????

And what about Dolly? Well she is on a ‘smelling everything’ kick right now. Usually her response is ewww stinky or mmm. I think these were mmm!
