• I have many journals that sit on the shelf at home. They chronicle many aspects of my life. I love to look through them, enjoying the things I have written or the pictures there in. It is my hope that as you look through these pages, that you too will enjoy the things placed so lovingly here.
    It has been a journey that has seen me through many joys and a few heartaches. From the start of Crimson Chickadee and my growth as a person and as a photographer. From the realization that how many fans I have on my facebook page does not merit my worth, to the swelling in my heart as I hit publish to a post that I know will mean so much to the intended recipient.
    I hope you join me often, with a good cup of coffee, and enjoy these pages as much as I do creating them.

    {hugs}

The wind was wild this afternoon and the clouds were threatening to rain but it was almost perfect weather for miss L’s session.   I can’t believe how beautiful all the girls are that I have had the pleasure of photographing this year…and miss L is no exception!  I loved the color of her dress…it was so vibrant and pretty!  To see it and to  see the rest of her sneak peaks hop on over to the senior blog here.

finally some warm weather…

Well it is nice to say after the snow last week that we are finally getting some warm weather!  Dolly absolutely loves it outside so she has been in her glory spinning and running around.  I took my camera out with me tonight as she played.  I love how she is holding her hands to her face in the one picture.  She did not know what to think when the dogs rolled over to scratch their backs.  As they laid there with their feet in the air she made the funniest expressions!  She watched them for quite a long time until she decided to take off running again.

Hope you are all enjoying the weather too!

Miss M|wainwright graduation photographer

Miss M came out to the studio and braved the cold Alberta weather tonight.  We would quickly take some pictures and then she would put her jacket back on.  We were both so cold! My fingers still are stiff!  As I looked through the pictures on the memory card I was amazed by the radiance of this young lady.  She wears her smile with such ease and it suits her so well!  To see more from her session go HERE.
