Life

I know that the blog has been quiet lately.

I had planned on doing away with the blog but in my heart I can’t commit to hitting the delete button.

I also had decided to take a step back from everything for the first few months of the year and focus on life.

I am so glad I did.

So here it sits…waiting for spring and the beginning of a new wedding season.

I am so glad you are keeping the blog! Even if it is quiet! I love seeing your pictures and reading what you write!!

Seeing your life in images | Emerge online workshop

I have been busy editing wedding images today and I took a moment to catch some fresh air and go for a walk in the SNOW! Although the snowflakes are not big and fluffy, they have covered the ground. It is starting to look like a winter wonderland out there! I love the first few months of winter. The change in the seasons is always exciting…but those seasons change so quickly. Too quickly!
The passing seasons always cause me to get a little nostalgic. I will pull out a photo album and have a walk down memory lane. Some images really speak to me. They pull me back into a moment and I am so thankful to have them!

A childhood moment spent with that special cousin.

A fleeting moment of serenity and quiet. A moment full of promise and childhood beauty.

To spend some time to stop and smell the flowers. To enjoy the beauty that the spring brings.

A moment to lay in the grass and listen to the sounds of the birds singing.

I could go on and on about our life’s moments. They define us and the images from those moments remind us of where we have been. If you are wanting help feeling the moment with your images don’t miss the Emerge Online workshop. It starts soon! Register or find more information  HERE.
